These earrings were inspired by the bunchberry — a miniature dogwood that grows on the forest floor in northern Minnesota. The earrings are hand forged from sterling sheet and wire. (They are NOT cast or made from precious metal clay). With my jeweler’s saw, each leaf was hand cut using real bunchberry leaves as templates, giving each leaf a slightly different shape as the real leaves themselves. From the top of the handmade ear wire to the tip of the leaf, each earring is approximately 1 3/4” (4.5 cm) long and about 5/8” across the widest part of the leaf.
